About
Hello, my name is Mitch Anderson. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I believe that building a genuine connection with my clients leads to more meaningful photographs, so while we may not have met yet, here’s a bit about me.
I’m based in Riverside, California, where I live with my wife and our son. I’ve been a professional photographer for over 10 years, but my interest in photography started much earlier. Growing up, I was always behind a camera—whether it was the family camcorder or disposable cameras my mom would send with us on trips so she could fill her scrapbooks with our memories.
As a teenager, I became deeply involved in skateboarding, which naturally led me into video production. That passion carried into my education at ArtCenter College of Design, where I studied filmmaking with a focus on cinematography. During that time, I also took extensive photography courses, which strengthened my technical foundation and creative approach behind the camera.
After graduating, I split my time between wedding photography in the Inland Empire and filmmaking work in Los Angeles. Eventually, balancing both alongside family life became difficult, and I chose to focus on what mattered most—being present for my son while building a full-time photography business closer to home. I still take on occasional film projects in Los Angeles, but my primary focus is now on serving my clients locally.
Today I offer wedding, engagement, family, senior, and headshot photography throughout the Inland Empire and Southern California.
Storytelling has always been at the core of what I do. While I still aspire to one day become a Director of Photography, I’m grateful to have photography as both a creative outlet and a way to support my family.
